Annual Dinner Dance

Date:              Friday, March 13, 2009

Place:             La Nueva Posada
                       Donato Guerra, Ajijic, Jal.

Time:             Cocktails at 6:00 pm; Dinner at 7:00 pm

Dress:            AFAC Summer Dress or Smart Casual

Ticket Price:  250 pesos per person
                       Tickets available at the front desk of La Nueva Posada.
                       Please make your seat selection when you pay for your tickets.

Guests:           Please limit to one couple only.

Highlights of the program include:

Introduction of Special Guests
Presentation of 904 Wing Dedicated Service Awards
Dancing to the music of Ricardo and Mirage from 8:30 to 11:00 pm
Music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s

Annual General Meeting

The 904 Wing Annual General Meeting will be held at 1600 hours, Friday, April 3, 2009 at La Nueva Posada. This is the key business meeting of the year when the new Wing Executive Council for 2009 - 2010 is elected.

904 Wing Golf Tournament

The Third Annual Wing "Best Ball" Golf Tournament took place at the Chapala Country Club on Tuesday, January 27. Thanks to the vigorous recruiting by Tournament organizer, Mike Briscoe, there were 44 golfers this year and a total of 72 members and guests who enjoyed the superb Pig Roast provided by the Chapala Country Club. Thanks to the efforts of Kent Russell for his work to collect prizes for our event.

Most Honest Team

President Ron Hudson
presented bottles of
wine to the members of
the Most Honest Team.
Pierrette Bennett, Carole
Charlebois, Jean Melnyk
and Jeannine Lafortune.

Their score was
respectable and you can
see from the smiles that
they had the most fun.

In addition to the three team prizes individual prizes were awarded for:
                   Longest Most Accurate Drive Men:       Bill Porteous
                   Longest Most Accurate Drive Ladies:   Don Fraser
                   Closest to the Pin Men:                       Mike Bishop

Door Prizes

Thanks to Sandi Allin of First Choice Homes fro her generous donation of a door prize for the third year. In addition, this year thanks to the efforts of Kent Russell we had five other prizes for lucky members and guests at the dinner.
